In this Warning Signs unit, students will engage more deeply in the knowledge and skills learned in the Say Something program. Specifically, students will gain a clear understanding of what a warning sign is. Students will work to create a safer school community by recognizing and responding to warning signs. Students will participate in role-playing to practice discussing concerns with Trusted Adults, analyze character stories to identify warning signs and create action plans. They also participate in empathetic exercises, categorize real and fake dangerous items, and complete a roadmap to become certified "Warning Sign Upstander."
